Our company’s revenue has almost tripled since 2015, from £1.25 billion to £3.14 billion in 2019, while maintaining a very impressive profit growth, profitability having grown from £40 million to £177m in the same period. We believe our IT team has been a solid pillar of this growth story and will continue to be so in the future. That is why we have decided to ramp up our technology team here in Pune which would aptly support our technology teams in Leeds and Sheffield (UK).”
Going forward, Jet2 would also be setting up an innovation centre in Pune, which would look at closely working with technology startups in India to develop travel based technology solutions. Mr. Isaacs further added, “Our eventual goal is to make significant investments in building a strong technology workforce across development, testing, architecture and business intelligence & analytics. We believe the talent pool in Pune is at par with the global standards and is well capable of innovating and delivering world-class travel based solutions for a global audience. J2TT would also be looking at closely working with likeminded technology startups here in India, which would further boost employment.”
Jet2 has seen a sustained and impressive growth since 2015 and plans to continue to grow in the coming years. Therefore, the IT delivery centre in Pune, Jet2TT will play a vital part in supporting this business growth. Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Saurabh Limaye, Managing Director, Jet2TT said, “Along with delivering high quality software for Jet2, Jet2TT also aims at creating innovative software that will further enhance the experience for Jet2 customers and enhance the internal business processes to achieve bigger milestones in the near future. Jet2TT offers an opportunity for Indian colleagues to work alongside our UK colleagues that would give some unique international exposure and help them progress in their careers. Learning and development is an integral part of the IT strategy and as such J2TT will offer various trainings, hand’s on exposure to cutting edge technologies and certifications to our employees to help them up-skill to stay relevant in this competitive market.”
Jet2TT will generate employment for the IT segment in the Pune market over the course of time, therefore giving an opportunity to job seekers to work with a world renowned brand.

New Switch Fabric Module Boosts Data Center Processing Capability for Aerospace and Defense Applications
ANDOVER, Mass., Jan. 23, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Mercury Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: MRCY, www.mrcy.com), a leader in trusted, secure mission-critical technologies for aerospace and defense, today announced the EnsembleSeries™ SFM6126 OpenVPX™ PCI Express (PCIe) gen 3 switch with innovative capabilities for creating a true composable data center edge processing architecture for aerospace and defense applications. This represents a critical data distribution building block for Mercury’s comprehensive embedded data center compute architecture, ensuring availability in space-constrained, harsh environments. The rugged 6U modules are unique in their ability to switch both the control and expansion planes to support the inter-module data distribution architecture required by high-performance OpenVPX high-performance embedded edge computing (HPEEC) subsystems.
“One of the latest trends in commercial data centers is to use a composable infrastructure which allows the computing, storage, and switch fabric resources to be individually changed – aggregated, disaggregated, and composed – based on an application’s precise needs, giving system architects much greater flexibility in deploying and reconfiguring resources as needed,” said Joe Plunkett, Mercury’s Vice President and General Manager for Sensor Processing Solutions. “We have applied that approach with our new EnsembleSeries SFM6126 switch, using PCIe switching to embed a composable data center ‘I/O distribution architecture’ in size, weight and power (SWaP)-constrained harsh environments. This fundamental capability enables our customers to equip our military with the smarter, more capable platforms and systems they need to detect and defeat emerging threats from adversaries, and once again showcases the power of Mercury to make commercial technology profoundly more accessible to aerospace and defense.”
Why they matter:
Artificial intelligence (AI), autonomous platforms, cognitive electronic warfare (EW) and sensor fusion demand huge processing resources that can be well served by leveraging a composable data center architecture. The hardware challenge for deploying these applications at the tactical edge pivots around making data center technology sufficiently small, lightweight and power-efficient. Additionally, these processing resources should be rugged for survivability and run cool for reliability. An embedded composable architecture is ideally suited to demanding processing-intensive applications, giving warfighters greater situational awareness to counter sophisticated threats.
What they deliver:
EnsembleSeries SFM6126 switches are a key component of a truly composable HPEEC solution, which include EnsembleSeries HDS6605 server blades and streaming IOM-400 I/O modules. Collectively, these modules leverage and scale the latest data center processing technologies to accelerate demanding workloads in the harshest, most SWaP-constrained environments.
Customer benefits include the ability to:
- Get data center-level performance without the data center – Deploy next-generation autonomous platforms, cognitive electronic warfare (EW) systems, compute-intensive electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR), active electronically scanned array (AESA) Radar, artificial intelligence (AI) and sensor fusion applications that require data center-class capabilities closer to the source of data origin – at the edge.
- Increase data throughput – Process and distribute massive amounts of streaming sensor I/O data over a distributed heterogeneous PCIe-enabled architecture.
- Scale and leverage data center IP from the cloud to the edge with a seamless and common compute architecture that integrates the latest commercial capabilities for affordability and low program risk.
- Deliver more processing power by pre-integrating other EnsembleSeries HPEEC building blocks including server-class processing blades (EnsembleSeries HDS6605), FPGA and NVIDIA® GPU co-processing engines with a wideband, low-latency and universal PCIe HPEEC architecture.
EnsembleSeries HPEEC Solutions – Embedding the Data Center Anywhere
EnsembleSeries OpenVPX modules and related pre-integrated subsystems are protected with Mercury’s proven fifth generation of advanced packaging, cooling and interconnects. Collectively, these technologies shield electronics from the harshest environments, keeping them cool for long, reliable service lives while enabling consistent switch fabric performance across a broad temperature range. For extreme environmental protection, optional modified-off-the-shelf (MOTS)+ technologies are available. These technologies leverage enhanced commercial components, board fabrication rules, and subsystem design techniques for extra durability and the ability to withstand extreme temperature cycles and mechanical excitation better than other rugged designs.
Designed, manufactured, coded and supported in the USA from DMEA-certified facilities, EnsembleSeries SFM6126 switches are expected to be available in the first quarter of CY2020 in conduction-cooled, Air Flow-By™ and Liquid Flow Through options.

Inuvo Issues Comments on Upcoming Browser Cookie Changes
LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Jan. 23, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Inuvo, Inc. (NYSE American: INUV), a leading provider of marketing technology, powered by IntentKey™ artificial intelligence that serves brands and agencies, today issued IntentKey updates in light of recently announced changes to browser functionality that could impact the future of online marketing over the next 24 months.
“Browser developers are struggling to balance how to provide enhanced consumer privacy without damaging the content providers and advertisers that fund and/or contribute to the online experience,” commented Richard Howe, Inuvo CEO. “At Inuvo, we advocate for responsible marketing and the anonymization of consumer information. These are principles our technologies have always been designed to meet. The browser changes announced last week do not appear to require any significant adaptation of our core technologies nor corporate strategy.”
Why the IntentKey works?
The patents behind the artificial intelligence (AI) technology of the IntentKey are rooted in the ability, both contextually and linguistically, to understand the written word in a similar manner to the way the AI assistance technologies used in mobile phones and home devices derive meaning from the spoken word. If you ask your phone “What is Yoga?”, it is likely to respond with something along the lines that Yoga is a group of physical, meditative and spiritual practices or disciplines that originated in India. This is a very broad answer, in part because the advantage of the spoken word is the ability to engage in a manner that narrows down the possibilities. We can, if we do not like the response, be more specific about what we are asking, “Assistant, please tell me more about yoga poses”, which then ultimately leads, iteratively, to a better response from the assistant.
The objective of AI based technologies is to become as good as the human brain is at discerning the unknown. For a machine, Yoga by itself has many possible contexts and as a result, is difficult to understand absent some qualifier like meditation or spirituality or India. Yoga in the context of posing, for example, would greatly narrow down the intent possibilities and ultimately yield a better consumer experience from the assistant. The question then becomes, in the absence of a qualifier like “posing”, how does a machine decide what the user really wants when they simply ask for Yoga?
Inuvo does not believe marketing should be any different. By definition the objective is to find a match between a product or service and a consumer need or intent. The difference is consumers do not engage with websites or apps in the same manner they engage with these home or phone assistants and as a result, the technologies developed to match marketer to website and consumer to website are forced to have to do the best job they can to predict the intent of the consumer, using the information and technology available to do so. This is fundamentally what the IntentKey AI was designed to do. At its core it is a map of probabilities between concepts. It knows that the probability that a consumer’s intent associated with a Yoga website is 75% likely to be about Yoga poses, even if Yoga posing is not explicitly discussed within the content. It would equally know that Yoga and India have only a 9.5% probability and it would equally know the probability associations of the other thousands of possible Yoga connections. Now consider that the IntentKey knows these same associations for every important concept in the English lexicon. This fundamentally is the patented technology that underpins the IntentKey.
Inuvo’s IntentKey lead, Amir Bakhshaie, added, “The IntentKey has been designed to work without individual profiles. Rather, the technology is designed to reach relevant audiences based both on its advanced and unstructured contextual understanding of content and how audiences behave in aggregate by leveraging Inuvo’s proprietary contextual data. Consumer anonymity is already incorporated into the IntentKey design and as such we believe we are in a good position to thrive if and when the industry moves away from the ability to target individuals.”
Inuvo’s IntentKey™ fuels a broad range of media services that deliver optimal performance from capitalizing on audiences’ early signs of in-market interests.
Inuvo®, Inc. (NYSE American: INUV) is a market leader in artificial intelligence, aligning and delivering consumer-oriented product & brand messaging strategies online based on powerful, anonymous and proprietary consumer intent data for agencies, advertisers and partners. About the IntentKey™
Inuvo®’s IntentKey™ is a patented, machine-learning technology designed to mirror the manner in which the human brain instantly associates ideas, emotions, places, people, and objects. It creates an accurate, high-definition picture of consumer intent and sentiment related to a particular topic or item. Inuvo harnesses the power of the IntentKey™ to discover and reach high volumes of incremental in-market and relevant audiences that are hidden from typical marketing approaches. The IntentKey™ enables pinpoint media execution reaching consumers throughout the purchasing funnel all the way to conversion.
